Participants
A standard KanDo Lean is designed for use with up to 15 participants, but with multiple sets there is no limit on the size of the group that can undertake the activity.
At MTa we've run KanDo Lean with over 200 people, with multiple teams competing, to generate an energetic, memorable and thought provoking session.
A standard MTa Kando Lean is designed for use with groups of between 3 and 15 people. Participants work in teams of between 3 - 5 participants.
KanDo Lean is suitable for anybody who needs to understand or influence lean processing. Successful applications have included:
- Developing lean thinking in financial services
- Creating fresh production thinking in drinks manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training
- Continuous improvement in FMCG
- Introducing lean thinking in air forces
- Helping production line workers understand and commit to lean workplaces
- As an experiential learning tool in business schools
- Introducing high school students to the world of business
KanDo Lean will develop powerful learning opportunities when used with junior grades right up to middle managers in multi-nationals.
Timing
To run all 5 phases of KanDo Lean takes 4 - 6 hours. The longer participants spend developing learning points from each phase for the longer the activity will last.
For many applications running only 3 phases is sufficient to generate the desired learning opportunities. This can be accomplished in 2 - 3 hours.
